# Telephony Integrations

With jambonz you can connect to any SIP trunking provider, PBX or Session Border Controller (SBC) as
long as they support the SIP protocol. The basics of creating a Carrier / SIP trunk on jambonz
are described [here](/guides/using-the-jambonz-portal/basic-concepts/creating-carriers):
that is the place to start if you are new to jambonz and want to understand how to create SIP
trunks and connect them to your jambonz account.

This section provides some additional notes and helpful information about how to integrate with
some specific carriers and hosted providers. This is not an exhaustive list and it is also a
work in progress. We will be adding information here over time with the help of our customers.

If a carrier or provider is not listed here it does not mean that you can not use them with jambonz -
you certainly can! It just means that we have not yet gathered information about that provider to
be able to provide specific instructions.
